Kenya is playing tough over Monday’s decision by the United States to impose a visa ban on a top government official. The official banned from entering the US is one of the fifteen the US has categorised as anti reform. Foreign Affairs minister Moses Wetangula says the US should stop meddling in Kenya’s internal affairs and argues that the decision is a breach of diplomatic standards and the UN charter. In the meatime,British High Commisioner Rob McCaire says impunity cannot be tolerated in any country and especially those within the commonwealth. McCaire supported the visa ban imposed on a Kenyan top official accused of standing on the way of reforms. The envoy was speaking during the marking of the commonwealth day in Nairobi.
