Matatu SACCOs opposed to planned move to phase out 14-seater PSVs
The association of matatu SACCOs has opposed the planned phasing out of 14-seater matatus in favour of the BRT buses. They say the move will drive most of their members out of business. They are also accusing the government of involving people they believe to be 'cartels' in the planned management of the BRT buses to lock out genuine matatu owners
