President finally receives Finance Bill, has 14 days to decide
President Uhuru Kenyatta now has 14 days within which he could make a decision on the 2018 Finance Bill after it was handed over to him this evening. This comes against a backdrop of pressure from Kenyans and politicians who have been urging him to sign the bill and extend the caveat on the coming into effect of the 16% VAT that had been postponed twice before.
