I.G Boinnett deploys detectives from DCI to probe Kisii violent clash
The inspector general of police, Joseph Boinett, has dispatched detectives to investigate the death of three people among them, a police officer, a conductor and a bodaboda rider in Kenyenya, Kisii county, following the violence that erupted on Wednesday. Police officers and residents clashed during protests over the killing of a conductor, who died after he was allegedly hit by a police officer in the chest and stomach. Kevin Mutai reports.
